Bon voyage brunch y cena de bienvenida

¡Mucho tiempo sin escribir! 

Long time  without writing!

Hace poco más de un mes mi amiga Rebe nos invitó a mi y Joel (los únicos del grupo de amigos que quedamos en la ciudad) a un brunch en su casa, ella y su esposo se irían por un mes a Europa así que este fue un buen pretexto (como si necesitáramos uno, hehe) para juntarnos a comer rico.

Approximately one month ago my friend Rebe invited me and Joel (the only ones of the crew in the city) to a brunch in her hose, she and her husband would go to Europe for a month, so this was a great pretext (as if we need it hehe) for get together and eat good.

Rebe nos preparó fruta, un pan francés delicioso con salchicha y tocino, unos  waffles y café americano; yo llevé helado de galleta para prepararnos un frappe. Platicamos  sobre la ruta que seguirían en su viaje, y también nos actualizamos un poco. Después de desayunar ayudé a Rebe a armar sus outfits. 

Rebe prepare us fruit, a delicius french toast with sausage and bacon, waffles and coffe; I brought cokkies and cream ice cream for make frappes. We talk about the trip route, and our lifes. After de brunch I helped Rebe with the outfits for the trip.

Hace dos semanas mi amiga regresó de su viaje y decidimos juntarnos los tres en mi casa. Acondicioné la terraza para la ocasión (mesa, sillas, luces) y preparé café. Rebe y Joel llegaron a eso de las 7:30, ella nos platicó de su viaje, las cosas que le gustaron y las que no, y sobre como les fue academicamente en el curso al que fueron a la Universidad de Vechta, Alemania. 

Two weeks ago my friend come back en we decided get together in my place. I adjusted the terrace with table, chairs and light and prepared coffee. Rebe and Joel arrived around 7:30pm; she told us about her trip, the things that she liked and not, and about hers and her husband academic experience  in the summer school in University of Vechta, Germany. 

Esta vez yo no preparé de cenar, decidimos comprar hamburguesas y papas a la francesa en el negocio de mi papá (las cuales están riquísimas). Fue una noche bastante agradable y divertida.

This time I didn't cook, we decided tu buy hamburguerse and french fries in my father's business (the food is delicious). Was a great and funny night!
